About Me.

Welcome to the interdisciplinary world of Océane Saddul, an American-Mauritian visual artist and aspiring surgeon whose creative work bridges the realms of art and science. A lifelong creative, she spent years experimenting across mediums, exhibiting under representation, and completing commissioned projects for private clients—long before discovering her underlying passion for the world medicine.

Océane began her undergraduate studies pursuing a BFA in Medical Illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology before transferring to Dartmouth College, where she is now majoring in Biophysical Chemistry. Though she has redirected her academic path toward a professional future as a doctor, she has not traded the paintbrush for the scalpel. She maintains a deep connection to the arts, drawing intuitive parallels between scientific structure and creative expression.

Océane’s work reflects the idea that precision, observation, and diligent attention to form enrich both disciplines simultaneously, transcending the traditional divide of the left and right brain.
